Kiaran O’Malley & Company is a family owned town planning consultancy comprising Kiaran O’Malley and his sons John and Raymond.  The company was founded in 1987 by Kiaran O’Malley who has been engaged in full-time planning consultancy since the 1970’s.  Kiaran, John and Raymond O’Malley are fully qualified civil engineers with Masters Degrees in Urban and Regional Planning.  Each holds a Diploma in Environmental Impact Assessment Management from University College Dublin.  Curriculum vitae are available on request. 

Kiaran O’Malley & Company has extensive town planning experience having advised on many residential, commercial, industrial and leisure developments throughout Ireland.  Some of the more notable commercial developments include the re-development of Croke Park Stadium for the GAA, George’s Quay office development for Irish Life Assurance Plc, the re-development of Arnotts department store on Henry Street, MBNA’s Operation Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim, the Health Sciences Building and several student accommodation villages for the University of Limerick, and an integrated tourism, recreation, education and residential development at Pipers Hill, Naas, Co. Kildare for County Kildare VEC and Dermot Weld. 

Our work includes the preparation and submission of planning applications, objections, planning appeals, the preparation of draft development plan submissions, presentation of expert evidence at oral hearings, CPO inquiries, the Courts, etc. on behalf of a wide range of private and public sector clients.
